Susan Boyle lands in Japan

Susan Boyle landed in Narita, Japan, on Tuesday and received a warm welcome from fans and staff at the Narita International Airport. The newly famous singer found stardom on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent programme aired on ITV and she has enjoyed her rise to fame that has included a makeover. When she touched down at the airport in Japan she was presented with a large bunch of flowers and a round of applause as she headed out of the terminal to a car that was waiting for her with a driver.

Boyle had mixed fortunes this Christmas when she found two strangers looking in at her in her house through a window on Christmas Day and the trip to Japan is set to take her mind off the upsetting experience. She has since had an alarm fitted into her house to ensure that if the intruders return she will be safe. Her brother Gerry Boyle spoke of the event and raised concerns he has about her safety. He claims that Susan was not perturbed about the event until later in the day and she originally rung her brother to tell him of her intruders as if it were an ‘everyday occurrence’.

The incident was not reported to the police and she only told her brother about it as she felt it was not a big deal. It was only afterwards when they realised the potential danger she was in and her trip to Japan comes at a good time for the singing sensation. It has also been reported that Miss Boyle has nothing of any value in her home that would be worth stealing and she lives off £200 per week.
