Suspected joint also found in Paris Hilton’s car

Police also found a suspected cannabis joint in Paris Hilton’s car when they arrested her for cocaine possession, according to reports. Newly released police paperwork shows that officers recovered a ‘roach’ from the car of the socialite’s boyfriend Cy Waits.

A ‘green leafy’ substance was apparently found inside the hand-rolled cigarette. A Las Vegas police officer wrote that the suspected joint was found in the couple’s black Cadillac Escalade but that it was wet so could not be tested.

Miss Hilton was also charged with possession of the class A drug cocaine. Waits, 34, and heiress to the Hilton Hotels fortune Paris, 29, were stopped at around 23:30 on Friday night while driving on Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to the police, officers could smell the marijuana coming out of the SIV when they pulled up alongside it. Miss Hilton and Mr Waits were pulled out of their car by the plush Wynn Hotel after Waits apparently told the officers that he had just finished smoking.

The hotel has since confirmed that Waits has been fired from his job as manager of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and the XS Nightclub at Encore after just a week in the position.

During the bust, an officer claims he saw a bag of cocaine fall out of Paris’s handbag and three field sobriety tests were carried out on Waits. He failed to pass the ‘one leg stand test’ but did manage to follow an officer’s finger with his eyes.
