The newest addition to the Flybe Routes
Posted on: March 23rd, 2008 by Peter HeadleyFlybe, the largest regional airline of Europe recently announced three new routes that were added for the jersey passengers. The new routes would become a part of the Flybe’s already existing timetable and from April 28, 2008, the airline would fly six days a week to the Paris’s Charles De Gaulle Airport. This new addition to their yearly timetable would benefit both the leisure travellers and businessmen in a significant way. They can now board the non-stop flights to the European capital.
It also reflects the strength and productiveness of the relationship that exist between Flybe and the Jersey airport. The flights will be operating daily except on Saturdays and the one-way fare would normally be £29.99 inclusive of all taxes and charges. Chief commercial officer of Flybe, Mike Rutter mentioned that the new route reflects the Flybe’s constant commitment to the island and their efforts to promote the growth of the regional air travel. He further emphasised that all this would never have been possible if the Jersey government wouldn’t have supported them like they did.
This development would come as a great boon for the business people, especially the ones who belong to the community of non-domiciled residents who have to limit their number of days spent in the United Kingdom for tax purposes. The new route would now enable these non-domiciles to be able to fly directly to the Charles de Gaulle.
