This Year’s London Film Festival Line-up Finally Revealed

It now seems that people who go to this year’s London Film Festival will be enjoying movies that star some of the biggest actors of their era. Some of the actors that will be featured in the London Film Festival include Keira Knightley, George Clooney, Carey Mulligan, Colin Firth and Hilary Swank.

This is the 54th BFL London Film Festival. It will screen 197 feature films and 112 shorts. It will showcase 11 world premieres during its 16-day run. This is one event that die hard movie fans will not want to miss.

The events will included the European premiere of Sir David Jason’s directional film debut, All The Way Up. This movie is about a businessman whose life changes when he meets a hotel bell boy. The veteran Only Fools And Horses star agreed to forgo a salary to work on this film after being impressed with the script.

Never Let Me Go, which is an adaptation of the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, will be shown. The movie was directed by Mark Romanek and will star Knightley, Mulligan and Andrew Garfield. The movie will actually open the event with an appearance by its stars on the red carpet.

There will be special screenings at the event as well. One of the special screenings will be The King’s Speech, starring Firth as King George VI. Danny Boyle’s mountain climbing drama, called 127 Hours, will close the festival. This was an event that was previously announced.

The 54th BFI London Film Festival, in partnership with American Express, will be running from October 13 to 28. This is truly an event that people will not want to miss.
