UK holiday company Thomas Cook has announced a range of special discounts for its summer 2017 seaside holidays abroad. Holidaymakers can reduce the price of their summer jaunts by £100 per person just by choosing one of the destinations on offer.
The sale launched on Christmas Eve and includes top holiday hotspots in the Canary Islands, Florida, Corfu, Rhodes and Majorca. Commenting on the offers after the launch of the sale, Thomas Cook UK and Ireland managing-director Chris Mottershead said there was something for all tastes.
He carried on by saying the discount collection featured holidays for couples, families and friends travelling as groups. He added that European holidays were available in addition to long-haul destinations for those looking for something a little out of the ordinary.
Noting the sale had launched at Christmas, Mr Mottershead said people invariably started thinking about their summer holidays over the festive season and some even made reservations on Christmas Day. The £100 per person discount lops a sizable chunk off the price of a holiday for a family of four.
Thomas Cook offers a practical payment by instalments option for its package holidays. A deposit of only £25 for each person travelling is enough to confirm the reservation.
Holidaymakers then pay the remainder by direct debit in the months prior to their holidays. Thomas Cook does not add any interest charges for customers choosing to pay for their holidays in this way and the total cost is what is shown in brochures or on the company’s webpages.
