Thomas Cook wins the credit card award

This joint venture credit card with the Barclays Bank was initiated in January -2007. With almost four creative designs of credit cards, this leading travel group was recognized for offering its customers different design options to choose from. This included a relaxing beach-scene, a lively city shot, a skiing figure and an elephant!
This prestigious award, which has been in the limelight for the last three years of its run, assembled almost 1300 leaders of various industries in The Grosvenor House located at London, recently. Awards were given away to the winners ranging from credit card to debit card as well as pre-paid and the charge card issuers. Awards were also handed out to the co-brands, banking acquirers from UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The managing director of Thomas Cook was quoted as saying that they are delighted to have won the prestigious award. He also said that they aimed to capture the main essence of their company ethos- that is to give its customers a wonderful holiday experience. Their card can also be used to claim reward points known as, ‘Travel Pounds’, and these customized cards also prove to be a healthy reminder for their customers! Incidentally, Thomas Cook has also been a finalist for the ‘Best Affinity’ and ‘Co-branded Retail Credit Card Program.’ Way to Go Thomas Cook!
