Top end cruise operator launches online brochure
Posted on: November 14th, 2008 by Samantha WilliamsAn operator specializing in ultra-luxury cruises has launched its first online brochure, detailing 60 pages of ocean and river cruise itineraries.
White Star Cruises, a WEXAS offshoot, features a select range of five- and six-star itineraries, at an average price of £5,500 per person.
The cruise lines used by White Star for its voyages include Azamara Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard, Hebridean International Cruises, Oberoi, Oceania Cruises, Peter Deilmann River Cruises, Silversea, The Yachts of Seabourn, SeaDream Yacht Club, Sonesta Nile Cruises, Viking River Cruises and Windstar, among others.
The company’s decision to produce an online brochure followed its record sales for the month of October. Each cruise line appears in a double-page spread in the brochure, with independent opinion offered.
White Star Cruises’ range of ‘Signature’ offerings includes airport porterage, airport VIP lounge access, chauffeur-driven transfers and hotel stays and excursions. Destinations featured include Alaska, Antarctica, Australia, the Baltic, Egypt and the Nile, European waterways, the Far East, the Mediterranean and the US.
Scott Anderson, the cruise company’s general manager, said: “The credit crunch does not appear to be affecting the top-end luxury market where White Star Cruises operate.
“We believe our new online brochure, which we refer to as the ‘Cruise Portfolio’, is the most beautifully designed brochure in the industry.”
