Travellers find cheap car rental in Croatia

Holidaymakers that are choosing Croatia as the destination for their break this summer will be able to take advantage of special reduced car rental rates that are being offered by Avis.

Travellers to the Balkan nation will be offered a discount of 15 per cent on car hire that is booked for three or more consecutive days.

Renters will find that the prices quoted when they book a vehicle are inclusive of airport charges, taxes, all mileage, and theft and damage insurance. Additional insurance is offered as an option for those wishing to have extra cover.

The offer is extended to holidaymakers who plan to explore the country by car, even after the peak of the tourist season, as the special pricing will extend through the end of September.

Reservations must be made by 28 September, 2008, however, in order to take advantage of this special offer.

Tourists that are considering a holiday in Croatia will find other aspects of a visit to the country to be good value as well. Accommodation and dining remain good value; and sailing is quite popular during the summer and fall, and according to the Guardian, can be quite cheap.
