Two new cars thrill the prestige car hire market

For the most of us car rental is all about getting from A to B at a price we can afford. Of course the choice of car is often a factor of where we choose to hire the vehicle, and certain companies choose to stock their fleet with only one manufacturer. For the few that manage to hire a car for the simple thrill of the ride, like hiring out a Porsche or a Ferrari for the day or weekend, it is a totally different experience. Birthdays and other anniversaries are a great time for this type of car hire and two of the latest sports cars set to improve the prestige hire car market are about to be launched this year.

First up on the road is the hotly anticipated Mercedes Benz CLS, a true classy car for the lovers of comfort and style. This sleek addition to the car market has the styling of and man’s dream coupe car, but it has four doors enabling the family to fit in comfortably. The 2010 phase of these cars have been updated and can deliver better performance as well being more economical. The 350CDI is a diesel that can travel from 0-62 in around 6.5 seconds, and retains the refining luxury of a Mercedes.

The next car that is due to hit the prestige rental market this year is something a little more special, and comes under the category of ‘big boys toys’. The Aston Martin DBS Volante is of the finest cars to hit the rental market this year and would make a dream come true for many sports car fans. It is capable of doing almost 200mph and can hit 62mph from standstill in less than 4.5 seconds. The convertible version was launched last summer and is sure to be a hotly requested vehicle when it arrives in the rental car showrooms.
