US Airways passengers earn triple points with Dollar
Posted on: December 18th, 2007 by Samantha WilliamsDollar Rent-A-Car is offering customers who are also members of the US Airways operated “Dividend Miles” program triple reward points on all car rentals. In order to be eligible, clients must rent an intermediate, or a full-size passenger vehicle (such as a Chrysler Sebring or a Dodge Charger) for at least three consecutive days from any Dollar outlet that is participating in this promotional deal. It is well worth inquiring in advance from the location where one intends to collect a rental car to confirm that points are indeed offered. Unlike many similar deals offered by other rental firms, this one is valid not only in North America, but throughout Europe and in much of
Asia.
The promotional period starts on January 15, 2008 and ends on May 15, 2008. In order to have all Dividend Miles credited to one’s account, it is necessary to quote the correct promotional code (namely, “DR8S”), at the time of reservation. Additionally, Dividend Miles participants should be certain to have their card, or account number at hand, when arranging a booking. All rentals must reserved at least 24 hours prior to the intended time of pick-up, although it is best to strive to arrange bookings further in advance, in order to ensure a better selection of vehicles.
Potential clients should also be aware that Dollar Rent-A-Car will charge up to a maximum of $2.00 for the entire car hire period, which is a standard surcharge added to the account of all customers who wish to collect frequent flyer points.
