USave Car Rentals offers reduced rates in New Zealand

USave Car & Truck Rentals is a locally-owned company based at the Auckland International Airport, in New Zealand, which offers some of the most heavily discounted car hire rates in the country. Compact, economy-class vehicles start at only NZ$25 (US$19) per day, for an airport rental. For this price, clients can expect to receive a Honda Logo, 2-door hatchback, which is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio, electric windows, central locking and power steering. The car comes in both manual and automatic versions. Known as the “Super Thrifty” package, this ultimate economy-class deal is ideal for two adults, with up to two pieces of luggage, one of which should normally be a soft bag.

In order to be eligible to rent this vehicle, the driver must be over 20 years of age and must hold a valid driver’s license from his/her country of origin. This rental is best for those looking to hire a car for only a short period of time—such as 24 hours—as additional charges are applied to car hires of longer duration. The prices quoted on USave’s website include 12.5% Goods and Services Tax (GST), and basic insurance packages are available at no extra cost to the renter. Collision damage waivers, however, may be requested for an additional NZ$20 per day fee.

Cars may be booked through the USave website (www.hirecar.co.nz ) and customers should be aware that the firm will request a NZ$100 deposit at the time of booking. All vehicles may be collected from USave’s airport location from 7:00AM in the morning.
