Virgin Trains cheaper and faster to Paris

Virgin Trains is teaming up with Eurostar in offering rail customers significant improvements in the time it takes to travel to Paris or Brussels – and in expanding the number of available bargain fares.

Following the completion of repairs to the Eurotunnel following last September’s fire, Eurostar has launched its new timetable. The resumption of full service, combined with the new Virgin Trains timetable introduced this past week, means that journey times to continental destinations have been reduced by as much as two hours in some cases.

Customers who book in advance can take advantage of the cheapest through fares offered – subject to availability.

These special fares include travel on Virgin Trains to London Euston, one-stop travel on the Underground to Kings Cross St Pancras, and then a booking on Eurostar service to Paris or Brussels.
