VisitBritain has rolled out the European phase of its “Britain for Less” campaign, targeting potential visitors from 18 countries on the continent.
The campaign will run until the end of June, and constitutes the national tourism agency’s largest Europe marketing effort in several years.
VisitBritain has partnered with easyJet, which will offer low-cost airfares, from as little as £23, on flights from 14 countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
The agency’s preferred airline partner for Belgium, Norway, Russia and Sweden is British Airways, which will offer fares during the campaign from €72, inclusive of taxes, fees and onboard services.
Accommodation specials are available from £29.95 per person at Jurys Inns and from £39 per room with the InterContinental Hotels Group in its Crowne Plaza, Express by Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn brand hotels.
Europcar has said that it is also supporting the VisitBritain campaign.
Europeans are being invited to “see more for less”, and dedicated website, britainforless.com, has been launched to feature destinations and provide insider tips on getting the best values for money while visiting Britain.
