Watch Out in Sydney Australia
Posted on: May 11th, 2008 by Benjamin TierWhen it comes to visiting Sydney Australia you all know what the essentials are. Being amazed at the architecture of the Sydney Opera House and sunbathing on the beach are known to be the two main essentials when it comes to vacationing in Sydney Australia. Sydney Australia is having some pretty gullible visitors because they are paying some unscrupulous guides and they are currently tarnishing Sydney’s image.
The Tourism Business has conducted a study and the results have just been released yesterday. The study clearly states that the visitors are paying for landmarks that are free to everyone that goes to Sydney, Australia. It states that the tourists are currently being tricked out of the money that they have earned in what is called under-the counter foreign exchange deals that are going on.
Tons of tourists are being sent to shopping outlets that they say are “tax free” but when they get there what they find is warehouses that are selling them merchandise at inflated prices. Then you have other individuals that are paying $1,200 (£490) just for a rug that is made out of sheepskin or $50.00 for one pack of macadamia nuts and we all know that the real price of Macadamia nuts is about a fifth of that. Then you have other gullible visitors that are paying money for “Essence of Kangaroo” that is made of meat extract and being told it is an aprhrodisiac.
The truth is that the visitors going to Sydney Australia are paying for something that they are told is a five-star experience but in all actuality it is way below a five-star experience. If you ever visit Sydney Australia then you should keep this news article in mind and don’t be the next to get sucked into something you shouldn’t get into.
