Zero percent credit card offer from Ryanair

Irish budget carrier Ryanair has announced that it is offering consumers a new credit card with a zero per cent interest rate on balance transfers.

Consumers who switch to the Ryanair credit card will enjoy the zero per cent rate for the first 10 months of having the card, and then will be subject to an APR of 14.9 per cent on both card purchases and balance transfers.

The new Ryanair credit card will also make it possible for customers to earn flights through the purchases they make on the card. Customer service is provided online and via a 24-hour telephone banking service.

Airline spokesman Stephen McNamara announced the launch of the credit card, saying: “Ryanair continues to lower fares in order to ensure passengers can continue to travel during the recession and we now introduce an unbeatable credit card offer of 0% interest for the first 10 months to allow customers extra time to pay off their credit or store card balances.”

He went on to say: “Those taking advantage of our latest offer can also jet away to a host of European destinations as a reward for taking the first step in reorganising their finances.”
